The theme for my dear twin brother, Savato (not THAT Savato, the one that lives here -- http://forum-n.com ). I could write a novel on this theme alone, but I won't, because I have things to do. But I will give a brief explanation: "Chiaroscuro" I suppose can describe how I structured the song pretty well, as it's split into thirds: the light third, the dark third, and the chiaroscuro, where they come together. Is the "light" portion is the opening -- calmer, slightly mysterious, and simple -- and the dark the part that's neurotic, mysterious, and dramatic? Or is it vice versa? That's up to interperetation, I suppose. Either way you put it, the light portion is still in a minor key, because the whole thing is. Is it symbolism? God only knows.
Also, I'm surprised that my parents didn't make any comments when I was conspicuously testing and retesting just what effects made the little girl laugh creepy. Haha.
Fun fact: The original file for this was called "Hippo" since the opening piano bit sounds like some large pachyderm bumbling towards you and causing several earthquakes in the process.
